Terms of Service
The agreement between you and INDclipping
Last updated: 26 August 2026
1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and the operator of INDclipping at https://indclipping.com (the "Platform"). By creating an account, browsing campaigns, submitting a clip or funding a campaign, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy, Refund and Cancellation Policy and Cookie Policy.
If you do not accept them, do not use the Platform. If you are using the Platform on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind that company.
You must be at least 18 years old to hold an account. We do not knowingly contract with minors, and an account found to belong to one will be closed and any pending earnings held until a parent or guardian claims them.
2. What the Platform is — and what it is not
INDclipping is a marketplace. Brands publish performance-based clipping campaigns; independent creators ("clippers") edit and publish short-form clips on their own social accounts and are paid according to the verified views those clips earn.
We are an intermediary within the meaning of section 2(1)(w) of the Information Technology Act, 2000, and we observe the due diligence required of an intermediary under the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021. We do not create the clips, we do not own the brands' assets, and we are not a party to the creative relationship beyond operating the marketplace and settling payment through it.
Nothing in these Terms creates employment, a partnership, a joint venture or an agency between you and us. Clippers are independent contractors and are responsible for their own taxes, registrations and compliance.
3. Accounts and account verification
- One person or company, one account. Multiple accounts operated by the same person to claim the same campaign more than once will all be suspended.
- You are responsible for everything done under your login and for keeping your password confidential. Tell us at support@indclipping.com the moment you suspect someone else has access.
- Before submitting clips, a clipper must prove they control the social account they will post from. We issue a one-time code (for example
INDclip_a7x9k2) which you place in that profile's bio; we then confirm it is there. The code may be removed once verification succeeds. - YouTube accounts are verified automatically through YouTube's own API. Instagram and Facebook accounts are reviewed by a person, because Meta blocks automated reading of profiles from server addresses. Review is usually settled within one working day.
- We may decline or revoke a verification where the code is absent, the profile is private, the handle does not match, or the account appears to belong to someone else.
4. Terms for clippers
Joining a campaign. Campaigns state the platforms they accept, the CPM rate they pay, the assets you may use and the guidelines you must follow. Joining one means you agree to those campaign-specific terms as well as these.
Your clip. You must:
- publish it from a social account verified on your own INDclipping profile, on one of the supported formats (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and Facebook Reels);
- follow the campaign's guidelines, including any required watermark, logo placement, audio track, caption or disclosure;
- label it as promotional content wherever the platform or applicable advertising guidelines require it — this is your obligation as the publisher, not ours;
- keep it publicly visible for the whole of the campaign period. A clip that is deleted, hidden or made private stops earning and may have unpaid earnings reversed, because its views can no longer be verified.
Rights you give and keep. You keep ownership of the clips you create. You grant the brand a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to view, share and repost your clip for the campaign's promotional purposes, and you grant us a licence to display it and its statistics inside the Platform for review and reporting. Brand assets are licensed to you for that campaign only.
Review. Submissions below 1,000 views at the time of submission may be approved automatically. At or above that figure a person reviews the submission before it is approved, because a large claim is worth checking. We may reject a submission that does not match the campaign requirements, is low quality or irrelevant, duplicates another creator's work, misrepresents the brand, or breaches these Terms — with a reason given.
5. How views are counted
Earnings are calculated on verified views: the view count we are able to read for your clip from the platform it is published on, refreshed periodically while the campaign runs.
- YouTube counts are read from YouTube's Data API. Instagram and Facebook do not expose a comparable interface to us, so counts on those platforms are established by review, from the figures the platform displays.
- The count we can verify is the count that is paid. Where our figure differs from what your own analytics show — different definitions of a view, different refresh times, deleted or re-uploaded clips — our verified figure governs, and you may dispute it through our support channels.
- Views obtained by paid promotion, view exchanges, bots, click farms, automated refresh, incentivised viewing or any other artificial means do not count and are grounds for reversal of earnings and suspension.
- We may cap, discount or refuse views on a submission where the pattern of growth is inconsistent with organic distribution.
6. Earnings, wallet and withdrawal
- You earn at the campaign's CPM rate — a rate per 1,000 verified views. If the CPM is ₹60 and your clip reaches 50,000 verified views, you have earned ₹3,000.
- Earnings on a campaign are displayed as they accrue, and are released to your wallet once your approved views on that campaign reach 5,000. Below that threshold views are tracked and earnings are shown, but no money moves. This is stated plainly because it is the single thing clippers most often misread.
- A campaign pays only up to its funded budget. Once the budget is exhausted the campaign stops accepting new views, so earnings are not unlimited even where views continue.
- Minimum withdrawal is ₹500. Requests are paid by UPI or bank transfer (NEFT/IMPS) and are processed within 24–48 hours of approval.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the payout details you give us. We are not liable for money sent to a UPI ID or bank account you entered incorrectly.
- Where Indian law requires tax to be deducted at source on a payment to you, we will deduct it and account for it. You are responsible for your own income tax and for any GST registration or filing that applies to you.
- We may withhold a withdrawal while a submission connected to it is under investigation for artificial views, plagiarism or a brand complaint. We will tell you why, and we will not hold it longer than the investigation needs.
7. Terms for brands
- A campaign goes live once it is funded. Payments are collected through Razorpay (UPI, cards and net banking); we do not store your card details.
- We charge a platform commission of 18% on campaign spend. Your campaign budget is what is available to pay creators.
- You warrant that you own or are licensed to use every asset you upload — logos, audio, footage, product imagery — and that the campaign complies with applicable advertising law and platform policy. You indemnify us against claims arising from assets you supplied.
- You may review submissions, and you may not withhold approval of a submission that meets the guidelines you published in order to avoid paying for views it has already earned.
- Guidelines may not require a clipper to do anything unlawful, misleading, or in breach of the publishing platform's rules — including undisclosed advertising.
- Cancellation and refunds are governed by our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
8. Prohibited conduct
You must not use the Platform to:
- inflate views or engagement by any artificial means, or coordinate with others to do so;
- submit clips you did not create, or that infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, personality or privacy rights;
- publish content that is obscene, defamatory, hateful, deceptive, harmful to a child, or unlawful in India, or that impersonates any person;
- misrepresent who you are, take over someone else's social account, or claim an account you do not control;
- interfere with the Platform — scraping beyond ordinary browsing, probing for vulnerabilities, circumventing rate limits, or reverse-engineering our systems;
- use the Platform for money laundering, for payments unrelated to a campaign, or in breach of sanctions or foreign-exchange rules.
We may remove content, reverse earnings, suspend or close an account for breach of this clause. Where we can, we will tell you what we found and give you a chance to answer; where the breach is clear and ongoing we may act first.
9. Intellectual property and takedowns
The Platform, its name, logo, design and code belong to its operator. Nothing here transfers them to you.
If you believe content on the Platform infringes your rights, write to our Grievance Officer at grievance@indclipping.com with the URL, a description of your right and your contact details. We acknowledge within 24 hours and act within 15 days, as required by Rule 3(2) of the IT Rules, 2021.
10. Disclaimers and limits on liability
The Platform is provided as it is. We do not guarantee that a campaign will be available to you, that a clip will reach any particular number of views, or that any particular level of earnings is achievable. Figures shown anywhere on this site as examples or ranges of what creators earn are illustrations, not promises.
We depend on Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Razorpay and other third parties. We are not responsible for their outages, policy changes, view-count corrections or account decisions, and we are not liable for earnings lost because a third party changed something outside our control.
To the extent Indian law permits, our total liability to you for any claim connected with the Platform is limited to the greater of ₹5000 or the total amount paid to or by you through the Platform in the three months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost opportunity or reputational harm. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Changes, suspension and closing your account
You may close your account at any time from your profile. Withdraw your wallet balance first; we will help you if a balance is left behind, but earnings tied to submissions that can no longer be verified may not be payable.
We may change these Terms. Where a change materially affects your rights we will notify account holders by email or in the app before it takes effect, and the date at the top of this page will change. Continuing to use the Platform after that means you accept the revised Terms.
We may suspend or withdraw the Platform, or any campaign, where we must for legal, security or operational reasons. Funded campaign budgets and accrued wallet balances are not forfeited by such a suspension.
